Hello Koalas Sculpture Trail
Greater Port Macquarie and Mid North Coast NSW
2022 Gold Winner: Best Sculpture Park or Trail

Hello Koalas Sculpture Trail, established 2014, is a cultural tourism public art adventure with 83 one-metre-high fibreglass sculptures, hand painted by local artists, displayed around Greater Port Macquarie and on the NSW Mid North Coast.
The Big Koala, The Spirit of All Koalas' has recently joined the Trail as the 84th sculpture, standing two and a half metres high.
More than 60 artists and sponsors plus many suppliers and supporters have enabled this free public art discovery trail in a unique treasure hunt experience.
The Trail is supported by an annual Festival, Gift Shop, Travelling Exhibitions with a free Hello Koalas Sculpture Trail Guide and regularly updated Map. That last point is important as koalas do move around and new ones are being added all the time, such as Charlie the Botanical Botanist and Wollemia the Vital Scientist.
So, be sure to pop onto the Hello Koalas Sculpture Trail website before you visit so you can find all of the colourfully furry faves.

And while all the koalas can be found on this unique treasure hunt, there's 10 artworks around the CBD that make up a one-hour self-guided walking Hello Koalas Sculpture Trail tour.
Where? In and around the picturesque coastal city of Port Macquarie on the NSW Mid North Coast.

Best viewing times: Daytime. Pop on your comfy walking shoes, a hat and a drink bottle for a wondrous walk or follow the map for a longer driving adventure.
